Body Grapher – Digitization of Medical Records and Disease Prevention with AI Predictions
One of the problems we have since birth is the inability to track our medical history as we grow.
Imagine this scenario, you are traveling during a holiday, and suddenly you feel sick or had an accident and need to be admitted to a hospital. Your emergency doctor asked you all those questions about allergies, historical surgeries you’ve had, and medicines you may have taken in the past to appropriately act on your illness to provide the most accurate cure or treatment. Don’t know about you, I would never be able to remember all those details or which doctors would have all those details and where to retrieve them in such a short amount of time.
In anyone’s lifetime from birth, one would have visited many doctors, clinics, and hospitals, taken many injections, and medicines for curing different types of issues with our bodies, short-term or long-term cures. Each of those places would have my medical records in different forms, such as paper/folders, on-site computers, or private clouds – and who knows how long they keep the records for. Sharing of information amongst them may require direct contact via phone, email or fax with my authorization each time. Traceability on a case-by-case basis.
Imagine this proposition, from birth, every health record is stored in a private/secure decentralized network contributed by doctors, clinics, and hospitals and bi-laterally owned by you and the provider of the cure. You can provide access to whoever you like with a click of a button from your phone for sharing of data to give the most timely cure in case of health emergencies. This solution will help to minimize any mistakes from doctors when providing a cure for your accident or disease anywhere in the world. You have fingertip access to your entire life’s health data in the most secure and encrypted form.
Another use case could be, once you have digitized your health records, you can combine your daily activities trackers (Apple Watch, Fitbit, Nutrition diet information, and fitness metrics) with externally/researched disease prediction algorithms to alert you of any high probability of occurrence of diseases (Cancer, Heart Attacks, Strokes, Alzheimer, etc) later on in your life. Using artificial intelligence (AI) to constantly look for potential problems with your body in real time can help you to prolong your life and spend more time with your loved ones. Technology is available today to make this happen, we need to work with the governments, hospitals, doctors, and clinics globally to integrate and collaborate as a network for mutual benefits. Can sound big and unachievable, but it’s got to start somewhere…..
Technology can be used to save lives and prevent all diseases in the future. This needs to be a goal for humanity in the coming 5-10 years.
Project “Body Grapher” is looking to help in this area ….. let me know if anyone is interested or has the expertise to make this happen.
